“My name is Richard Marsh and I am the co-owner of Underdog Tattoo Co. My journey in tattooing started back in 2010 at 808 Tattoo in Kaneohe, Hawaii. I learned how to tattoo from my mentor Mr. Chris Sewyer. Soon after, I was sent to Southern California to learn from his brother Mr. JJ Sewyer. I also had the pleasure of learning from Mr. Justin Hendrick. These were my mentors - day in and day out. I abided by their rules and set a standard for myself to be the best I can be. I had a very traditional apprenticeship, from needle making to mixing powder pigment. I will continue to grow as an artist and a mentor for my apprentices and my family.
“Danny Lee here. I studied art at APSU. My apprenticeship was done at the Dancing Dragon Tattoo studio in the late 90’s. I truly enjoy art and creating. Aside from tattooing - I love coffee, long walks on the beach and wiener dogs.”
"My name is Brandi Smith. I have been tattooing since 2016. I apprenticed for 3 years under Riff at Black Kat Tattoo in Clarksville TN. I like to tattoo neat shit. Clean lines and devilish details. I treat every tattoo with due regard - as it is the one thing you get to take with you to the grave."
“I’m Jack. Been drawing all my life. Tattoos give me an outlet to be creative and share experiences with people I would have been too shy to talk to otherwise. I’ve met so many amazing people doing this for 25 years. Every person in my chair is a chance for me to grow and learn something new. I’m old school, a bit rough around the edges sometimes - but I’m sincere and talented. I’m very lucky to be an Underdog. Super Badass!”
